Waystation Weeding at the Blue Ridge Center

Monday, June 23, 9:00am - 11:00am.

In May, we planted a huge Monarch waystation at the Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship. A big thank you goes out to all the dedicated volunteers who got all these wonderful plants in the ground. In order to help our plantings thrive, we are having a weeding session. Removal of weeds is a very important part of our habitat restoration efforts, and is also a good chance to see how the plants are coming along. Bring gardening gloves, water, and weed removal tools if you have them. The Blue Ridge Center is located at 11661 Harpers Ferry Rd, Purcellville, VA 20132. The planting site is on the main road; you can't miss it! If you are available to help, please contact arickard@loudounwildlife.org
