/Wildflowers & Pollinators Walk

  • August 14, 2016
  • 10:00 AM
  • Sawmill Rd parking area

Saturday, August 14, 10:00 a.m.

Join Emily Southgate of the Piedmont Chapter of the Virginia Native Plant Society and Laura and Liam McGranagham of the Loudoun Wildlife Conservancy for a general wildflower and pollinator walk. At this time of year we should see numerous butterflies and other pollinators using the summer wildflowers as well as early migrating birds who depend on the insects and the seeds of these wildflowers and native grasses.

We will meet in the parking lot across from the organic farm at the Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship, 11661 Harpers Ferry Rd, Purcellville, and from there drive to the southern side of the Center.
