Instructor - Michael Judd

Join us for this dynamic, interactive and entertaining workshop on how to create a permaculture garden that couples raised beds, rainwater harvesting and companion planting.  Come learn how to put permaculture principles into action and the easy steps for transforming your lawn into a thriving edible landscape.  A comprehensive presentation on the methods for establishing Food Forests/Perennial Gardens will also be presented.

Michael Judd has worked with agro-ecological systems and landscapes throughout the Americas for the last 16 years focusing on applying permaculture and ecological design to increase food security and community health in both tropical and temperate growing regions.  He is the founder of both Ecologia, LLC, edible & ecological landscape design in Frederick, MD and Project Bona Fide, an international non-profit based in Nicaragua that supports agro-ecology research.
