Hunting: With hunting season underway, hikers across Virginia are encouraged to wear at least one item of blaze orange for safety. General hunting and shooting is not permitted at the Blue Ridge Center. Periodically, managed hunts by trained personnel are planned at specific, posted times when trails are closed. If you see hunting or shooting activity when trails are open, immediately call the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-0407 and contact us.
