Why he's happy to be at the Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship: "I am passionate about my work with the Blue Ridge Center, and I'm greatly encouraged by its potential to educate our communities on the importance of sustainable development and environmental stewardship."
Darlene Lamoureux, Operations Manager. Darlene has been with the Blue Ridge Center since 2005. She came to us with a background in Human Resources, having attended the University of Maryland with a concentration in HR Management. When not at work, Darlene likes to spend time with her husband, their teenage daughter, and their dogs, horse, and other pets.
Why she's happy to be at the Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship: Darlene enjoys meeting the visitors and campers who enjoy hiking, bird walks, and the many other activities that the Center offers. "I feel fortunate to work with an organization where nature, wildlife, and so many people benefit from what we do here at Blue Ridge. To know that there is still a place in our area where you can truly enjoy nature at its best is a rare privilege that we should not take for granted."
