Learning from the Land

The Blue Ridge Center educational opportunities range from training series to informal interpretive hikes, from hands-in-the-dirt work on archaeology to watching engaging films about conservation and the environment, from long-term research projects conducted by partner institutions to short-term monitoring efforts and projects proposed by students.

Blue Ridge Center education programs are open to the public and appear on our Calendar of Events. In 2004, we launched the New Farmer Collaborative, a series of workshops and training programs designed for new and prospective farmers.
