New Media Web Service Grants Program
The Blue Ridge Center for Environmental Stewardship recognizes that a web-site presence on the Internet can dramatically expand an organization's capacity to conduct "business" in education, fund raising, outreach, advocacy, and networking. The New Media program offers web-service grants on a matching basis to pre-selected organizations through the professional services of Collaborative Technology Group, Inc., (CTG), a firm that offers strategic web site design for nonprofit organizations. Grantees selected to benefit from the New Media program do not receive an outright monetary grant, but are assigned the professional services of CTG.
Only pre-selected organizations are encouraged to apply for a New Media grant.

Collaborative Technology Group (CTG) works extensively with organizations such as those listed above to help them maximize web technology and effectively meet the unique challenges faced by nonprofits. CTG associates each come with strong nonprofit credentials, having served in varied capacities in the national nonprofit arena. CTG's team works with Blue Ridge Center New Media grantees to develop a wide range of web-based strategies, drawing upon CTG's professional experiences in the environmental community, including environmental education, fund raising, membership and chapter development, management information services, grassroots outreach, policy development, and advocacy.
